UGSOA Local 52 was created in 1996 when the Officers working for Security USA got sick and tired of
being treated like garbage. They fought and in the end gained their first Collective Bargaining
Agreement.
In 2001, things changed. Holiday International Security gained the contract and In 2002 we gained
another CBA and added Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to the bargaining unit.
In 2006, Local 52 gained more members when the employees working in Imperial County elected to
join the winning team.
Today, Local 52 members and their co-workers are earning more than ever before.
